Youth do not choose to live without homes - they often come from places worse than most of us are able to imagine. They face incomparable dangers every day, vulnerable as they are to the predatory nature of the streets. Reality for Youth is vulnerability, constant stress and imminent danger day in and day out.
With far more young people on our streets than are recognized, youth need support in a variety of ways. Above, give directly to the people helping them.
Your support for Youth is more valuable than you already know.

Safe, enjoyable and fun, we created the Stars 4 Peace to address important need in an array of creative ways

"Grand" Origins of this Stellar Work
Because Some Things are Bigger Than Any 1 of Us
In 2012 we forged a 3-way collaboration with Olympia's Procession Luminary team and Tacoma's Fall Free For All to welcome Vicci Martinez back for her homecoming birthday show at Broadway Center's Pantages Theater after her national tour from performing on The Voice. Vicci was born on the International Day of Peace, so when we surprised her with an unforgettable assembly of illuminated sculpture (video) stars became associated with peace in Tacoma communities.
|
After such a cataclysmic Beginning, we decided the most stellar thing we could do was create a public project to gain important support for people in need in our city's various neighborhoods and local communities.
We have worked with many organizations helping women in transition, disadvantaged students, survivors of trauma due to abuse, returning citizens, youth w/ no shelter & more. Your support helps more than you know. |
Annually since 2012, Stars 4 Peace have created or collaborated in events all over Tacoma, every year, working with a long list of organizations, businesses, arts groups & like-minded people. See above: Collaborators & StarSeed Supporters.
You will see that everywhere the Stars go, smiles also follow. It is our great joy to bring to our city a stellar expression of unity via such caring means. |

Sound Comes Soon... |
At the Heart of Sound
Music & Heart in Wright Park
2019 we began a cycle of awareness fostering solutions to youth homelessness in Tacoma. We continue that work, creating well-informed content through the people serving youth at the ground level with the critical organizations that are in touch with youth. Working with Radio Tacoma and other media in multiple formats, our message will reach many people around Tacoma and the South Sound, fostering support and goodwill among those desiring to better youth in need. Thank you for helping us how you are able. |
Support Real, Feasible Solutions for
Youth w/ No Shelter in Tacoma
& the South Puget Sound
We use the attention from the Stars 4 Peace to gain important support for people in the most vulnerable situations in Tacoma. In 2017 we started a clothing drive that has supplied and continues to help supply survivors of abuse, disadvantaged youth and homeless people with quality clothes and food they need. This year we bring critical help to youth with no shelter in Tacoma.
