Giving DIRECT-TO-NEED
This year we coordinate with local organizations, musicians, artists and local radio and alternative media platforms to create an ongoing cycle of awareness addressing youth homelessness.
We already enjoy the support of many local businesses and Tacoma's music and arts culture, making it simple to focus the attention of our city on the forgotten youth with no shelter in our communities.

Previous years, Stars 4 Peace have been used to highlight important areas of need in Tacoma's neighborhoods and have contributed important supplies like food and clothing to survivors of trauma due to abuse, youth in underprivileged communities and people with no place to stay.
Adrienne Casteele of Tacoma's H.O.P.E. Victims Advocacy Foundation has helped women in our city's most under-served communities restore their lives after trauma and violence in the home at no cost them for decades. Her contributions to the lives of so many women over the more than 20 years she has worked to restore hope to their lives has impacted the well being of the women she serves in exceptionally positive ways. Adrienne Casteele at the H.O.P.E. Victims Advocacy Foundation has been helping women and youth overcome violence and trauma in the home for more than 20 years, in our city's most vulnerable communities. She does so at no cost to the women and youth she helps - our support helps her accomplish serve more people more effectively.

Giving even small amounts of monetary support as a whole community to support organizations allows them to accomplish their missions and encourages them in their work. We research, vet and present the local organizations we feel do an exceptional job and believe are under-supported in the work they do.
As a community we encounter thousands of people together who will also help support youth, once they know how they can do so. The organizations we have worked to get to know need community support.

A great part of our Mission is to bring Tacoma's many communities together at fun and festive events like Tacoma's Santa Parade, intending to include family, friends and loved ones. Fostering collaboration in support of youth w/ no homes in Tacoma & the South Puget Sound, we have since created a sustainable platform where you can support youth in the way that means the most to you. See HERE
